Skiing in the heart of styria

The small but quite demanding ski areas in our region are just as attractive for those who want to speed down the slopes as for those who are skiing for the first time. The small ski areas are particularly interesting for families.

The Spielberg region is characterized by small but fine ski areas. You can whiz down challenging ski slopes here, because also the FIS races take place here every year, in which the international ski youngsters compete.

Our Gaal and Kleinlobming ski lifts are particularly popular with families and beginners, as there is no need to wait for hours at the cash desk and lift, the prices are particularly family-friendly, and yet the slopes offer the opportunity to really learn to ski. The central starting point of the lifts guarantees families in particular that children and parents can quickly find each other and that the overview is not lost.

The Gaal is also a member of the Mur-Mürz ski pass, which is available as a multi-day ticket and as a season ticket and which opens the hubs for a total of 76 cable cars and lifts or 226 km of slopes and routes.
